SubScale Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the SubScale mobile application. By using SubScale, you agree to these terms. SubScale is developed and published by JS Tech Lab (Jigar Hasmukhlal Shah).

Description of Service
SubScale is an independent, informational subscription management tool designed to help users track their ongoing subscriptions and recurring expenses.
No Financial Services
SubScale does not provide financial, investment, or banking services.
No Direct Payment Processing
The App does not connect to bank accounts, credit cards, or financial institutions. You should not enter sensitive financial credentials like raw credit card or bank account numbers into the App. All tracking details are manually entered by you.
Eligibility and Accounts
Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use SubScale.
Local Identity
SubScale operates entirely without requiring account registration, external logins, or cloud profiles. You are solely responsible for managing the App on your local device.
Billing, Auto-Renewals, and Restorations
Subscription Plans
Premium access is offered via Monthly (₹149), Quarterly (₹299), and Yearly (₹999) billing options. Regional pricing may vary based on your respective app store location.
App Store Processing
All payment processing, currency conversions, billing transactions, and renewals are handled exclusively by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store billing architectures. SubScale does not collect or track your payment methods.
Automatic Renewal
Paid tiers automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you disable auto-renew or cancel your subscription through your official App Store or Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Purchases Restoration
If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can utilize the integrated “Restore Purchases” button on the paywall layout to re-verify your active premium tier entitlements via your device's primary store account.
Data Ownership and Local Storage
Local Device Storage
Every piece of data you enter, including subscription titles, costs, dates, category items, and notes, is stored exclusively in your device's secure local internal storage database.
Your Responsibility
Because your data is not stored on or backed up to external cloud databases, you acknowledge that deleting the App, clearing local app data, or losing your physical device will permanently erase your local data logs.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate subscription information for your own tracking purposes.
- Maintain the physical and passcode security of your device.
- Not use the application for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or access restricted features without an active premium subscription.
Intellectual Property & Trademarks
Ownership
SubScale and its original codebase, design layouts, SubScale brand logo, and mascot ‘Savey’ and features are owned exclusively by the App developer and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Fair Use Disclaimer
SubScale utilizes third-party corporate names, logos, and trademarks solely for user-facing visual identification of subscription categories. SubScale is a completely independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the companies whose corporate logos appear within the application interface.
App Alerts and Permissions
Local Notifications
To receive timely “Renewal Alerts” for your tracked subscriptions & inactivity alerts, the App requires your local device permission to push notifications. These alerts are handled entirely on-device without external server dependency, and can be disabled at any time through our app SubScale and your operating system settings.
Refund Policy
Refund requests for any premium plan purchases must be initiated directly through the respective platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) according to their consumer refund guidelines. SubScale does not process or manage financial refunds directly.
Disclaimer of Warranties
SubScale is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be entirely error-free, uninterrupted, or that the manual tracking calculations will fit your absolute financial planning needs.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SubScale and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, personal budget discrepancies, financial tracking mistakes, or device failures, arising out of your use or inability to use the application.
Termination
SubScale
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or terminate the App or any part of the Service at any time without liability. We reserve the right to suspend access if any fraudulent manipulation of the App Store billing layer is detected.
User
You can terminate this legal agreement at any time by simply uninstalling the application and wiping its local storage footprint from your device.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your primary place of residence.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via the App or our website.
